Pears and Walnuts Salad - Recipe

Pears and Walnuts Salad is an easy, healthy and yummy vegetarian recipe, perfect as an original entree or side for your meal. Walnuts and Pears are combined in a perfect match for a delicious summer salad!

  • Field Lettuce

    1/2 lb
  • Pears

  • Celery

    2 ribs
  • Walnuts (prefer halves)

    1/2 cup
  • Parmigiano Cheese (shaved)

    4 oz
  • Dijon Mustard

    1 tbsp
  • Vinegar

    to taste
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    2 tbsps
  • Salt

    to taste

Cooking Directions:

Wash and clean the field lettuce leaves. Peel, core and slice the pears. Chop the celery and the walnuts. Mix all the vegetables in a large bowl.

In a small bowl mix mustard, salt and vinegar. Stirring, add slowly the oil and mix well.

Shave the Parmigiano Cheese and top with it the Walnuts and Pears Salad.

Dress the salad in the large bowl or serve it in individual bowls with the dressing on the side.


If desired, toast the walnuts baking them on a cooking sheet at 400 F for 3-5 minutes.
