- Level: Easy
- Preparation time: 15 minutes
- Total time: 480 minutes
- Yield: 12 servings
In a large bowl mix the red wine with sugar, brandy, cloves, cinnamon, the vanilla extract, the juice of half lemon and the juice of one orange. Stir well.
Wash the fruits but don't peel them. Cube half orange, the apple and the two peaches. Cut the other half of the orange and half lemon in thin slices.
Pour the fruits in the red wine and stir well. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrapper and place it in the fridge for at least eight hours before serving.
Before serving add the sparkling water and few ice cubes if desired.
If you like a sweeter Sangria cocktail you can substitute the sparkling water with some citrus flavored soda.
For the wine we suggest a non sparkling red wine like a Bonarda wine, a Cannonau or a red Salice Salentino.
