Stewed beef and potatoes - Recipe
A delicious recipe for an hearty and flavored stewed beef with potatoes that will delight your guests. Fully flavored, this simple stew is perfect as winter meal!

Homemade Tomato Sauce26.5 oz (see recipe ↪)
In a large pot put the olive oil, the finely minced onions and garlic. Slighly caramelize the onions
Add the beef cut in cubes of about 1/2 inch and cook for 5 minutes stirring frequently.
Add the beef bouillon and mix until melted.
Add the red wine and stir occasionally until almost dried.
Add the potatoes and the Homemade Traditional Tomato Sauce ↪ and stir occasionally for about 10 minutes
Cover with water to reach 3/4 the way up the potatoes and beef. Adjust with salt and pepper.
Cover the pot and cook for about 1-1 ½ hours on medium to low heat, stirring occasionally.
If you want to add a stronger taste to this recipe, add on step 2 some crushed hot peppers as desired.
You can use a canned traditional tomato sauce instead of the Homemade Traditional Tomato Sauce ↪
