Roast Beef and Tuna Sandwich - Recipe


Roast beef and Tuna Sandwich recipe combine the flavors of meat and tuna with the tangy flavor of limes in a delicious mix

Ingredients


Bread, ciabatta

4 small

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 tbsps

Lemon Juice

2 tbsps

Pepper

1/2 tsp

Salt

1/2 tsp

Yellowfin Tuna in olive oil

1 can

Capers

3 tbsps

Green Olives

3 tbsps

Mayonnaise

4 tbsps

Roast Beef

8 large slices

Arugula

1 small bunch

Limes, finely sliced

2 small



Cooking Instructions


For the marinate:


  • In a large plate, lay the sliced roast beef in a single layer, add oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice on top. Let rest for 20 minutes to marinate.

For the Sauce:


  • In the meantime, put the drained tuna, the capers, the olives and the mayonnaise in a food processor and blend until you obtain a creamy, beige colored, sauce. Refrigerate if needed.

For each sandwich:


  • Cut the ciabatta breads in two halves and slightly toast each side of the bread.
  • Add some arugula.
  • Lay 2 slices of roast beef and cover with abundant tuna sauce previously prepared.
  • Cover with the sliced lime and serve.
