Chocolate Pastry Cream Custard - Recipe
Chocolate pastry cream custard is a yummy variation of the classic custard recipe. Great as a flan to top with whipping cream or as filling for a variety of desserts, pies, cakes and pastries.

Warm without boiling the milk with half of the sugar.
In the meantime beat the egg yolks with the remaining sugar and the cocoa powder. Always mixing add the sifted flour.
Slowly pour the warm milk on the dough, mixing well. Transfer in a non stick pot and bring to boil at very low heat stirring continuously.
Boil for a minute or until the cream reaches the desired consistency. Let cool.
