In a large pot, bring to boil enough water to cook the pasta. When boiling, add salt and the Farfalle pasta. Let cook until al dente, as directed on the package.
In the mean time, wash, clean and cut in large pieces the bell peppers and in thin slices the onion.
In a large non stick pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil and caramelize the onions over high flame.
Add the bell peppers, season with salt and pepper and saute for about 5-6 minutes on high heat until wilted stirring frequently.
When the saute is ready, turn off the heat and add the cream cheese. Stir well until you obtain a creamy and homogeneous sauce. Add some water or some milk if too thick.
When the pasta is ready, drain and transfer in the large skillet with the cream cheese and bell pepper sauce.
Heat briefly and quickly stir fry for no more than one minute before serving.
