  • Beef Brisket

    2 lb
  • Potatoes

    4
  • Onions

    1 big
  • Mayonnaise (optional)

    3 tbsps
  • Celery

    2 bunches
  • Salt

    to taste
  • Black Pepper

Cooking Directions:

Put beef in a deep pot with salty water and bring to boil, then low the heat and let boil for 40 minutes. Let cool.

Wash and peel the potatoes and boil them in another pot for 30 minutes. Let cool.

Cut the meat, the potatoes and the onion in 1/2 inch wide cubes. Chop the celery.

In a large bowl mix all together. Adjust with salt and pepper and dress with the Mayonnaise. Refrigerate the Boiled Beef and Potatoes Salad for at least 1 hour before serving.


Tips:

For reducing the cooking time you can cook the potatoes and the beef in the microwave for 20 minutes.

You can reuse the broil for your favorite soup.

For a lighter recipe use can use a dressing made with lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil instead of the mayonnaise.
