Oven Baked Cauliflowers with Saffron Sauce are a delicate, delicious way to prepare a healthy meal. Great as main dish or as a side for chicken or turkey. This light veggie dish will bring a yummy and colorful delicacy on your table.

Wash and clean the cauliflower head. Cut the stems close to the head in pieces of equal side.
Place the raw cauliflower pieces in a large baking pan.
Transfer in the oven and bake at 400F for about 15 minutes.
While baking the cauliflowers, dissolve the saffron in the milk by stirring it gently.
Remove the baking pan from the oven. Pour the saffron flavored milk on top of the cauliflowers and mix well.
Return the cauliflowers to the oven and cook for additional 5-10 minutes. Stir once at half time if necessary.
When ready, top the cauliflowers with the shredded mozzarella cheese and bake (or broil) for other 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and serve hot either as main dish or as side for white meat like chicken and turkey.
