Cooking Directions:
Wash and cut the vegetables in small pieces
Add them in a non stick skillet with enough water to cover 1/2 of them and bring to boil.
Let cook the vegetables until the water is completely evaporated stirring occasionally. The vegetables should be cooked but not too tender. If necessary, add some more hot water.
At this point add the Soyaki sauce and, on medium heat, cook for additional 5-6 minutes or until the Soyaki reaches the desired thickness.
Serve hot with steamed brown rice.
Tips:
This recipe does not require additional seasoning, including salt and pepper. The Soyaki sauce is already flavored.
If you cannot find Soyaki sauce, a good substitute is called Very Very Teriyaki.
Make your own Soyaki Sauce
You can even try to make your own mixing 10 oz of Soy sauce, 2 oz of teriyaki sauce a little bit of grated ginger root, 1 spoon of sesame seeds, 2 spoons of sesame oil, garlic and onion powder.
