Cooking Directions:

If you are using fresh Porcini mushrooms, wash throughly and then chop them in pieces. If you are using dried Porcini Mushrooms, moist them in water for about 20-30 minutes. Drain them saving the liquid.

In a large skillet sauté the crumbled ground beef with the chopped garlic until brown.

Add the chopped Porcini mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes. If you started from dried mushrooms, add slowly the previously saved juices.

Adjust with salt and pepper. Use this Porcini Mushrooms Bolognese Sauce to dress your favorite pasta or as it is with a side of steamed rice.

Tips:

Porcini Mushrooms have a really intense flavor. You can use a mix of Porcini and other Mushrooms with great results. This will still give you a delicious pasta sauce while saving some money.
